BEST WAY TO TRAVEL EGYPT | ASWAN TO LUXOR | LUXURY NILE RIVER CRUISE + EDFU & KARNAK TEMPLES

One of the best ways to experience Egypt is aboard a cruise ship. The views of the Nile River watershed, small adjacent towns, and arid desert landscape are simply stunning. Whenever visiting the country for the first time, a cruise ship is a must do in our opinion and fortunately there are numerous ships to choose from with various prices….

  1. Don't be fooled. The Nile cruise is totally overrated!!! I just came back from the trip to Egypt and did the cruise. First (1), they have the most impossible schedule: 6:30 am visit to Edfu Temple!! I am on vacation and don't want to get up earlier than work to see a temple that has been there for thousands of years! Why would they want passengers to go so early? So that the cruise can get to Luxor before it closes around 5:45-6pm. So that passengers will be again hurried like cattle. My cruise docked in Luxor around 4:30pm and I had only about an hour to see the largest temple in Egypt and had to see Luxor temple at night. Second (2), when I got off each stop, I was among thousands of other passengers from other cruises. Yes, the cruises are sailing together. My visit to Luxor temple was so crowded that I had to wait and push through crowds among giant columns. Fortunately I stayed in Luxor next couple of days, and was able to see it in daylight with few people. Third (3), most people had stomach problems from the cruise. My travel group (consisted of people from different countries) all got sick (not too severe but definitely very uncomfortable). I met an American group (40+ people) from a different cruise, they also had the stomach problems. We didn't have it in Cairo, nor in Luxor. It was from the cruises. I will NEVER take the cruise again. It may sound good, but is OVERRATED in reality!!!

  2. Great video. Thanks for all the information . We are looking at this river cruise for next year. It's so hard to choose on line. Did you buy on line or there? Thanks 😊…Kevin and Ange

  3. Once again awesome video son! You go Gabby and Marlon😃 I think it's amazing how those temple's are still standing after all these hundreds of years. I didn't realize there is so much more to see in Egypt. Also the river boat cruise seems like a peaceful serene cruise, and the rooms look nice and comfortable 👌 Beautiful, oh so beautiful!!
