Djibouti is a country under construction so all the negativity you guys are saying is ignorance so please educate yourself and stop making fun of poor countries like Djibouti 😉
Sorry 😐 but did I heard wives of incarcerated men? Well you got it wrong over there . Well Djibouti isn’t that extreme as you think . You need to chill !
I watched this because my husband is stationed at Camp Lemonnier and I wanted to see Djibouti City and get a feel for where he is. I don’t understand why you had to make such negative comments about this place, such as the sanitation workers being the wives of incarcerated men and you not being sure they even have addresses. They may have a different way of life but your tone of superiority is tiresome. You’re a guest in this country and there’s no need to look down your nose at it.
Sir I watched your video from Djibouti, and I like it but those women you saw in street are not doing this job because they husband went to jail. it is not true at all the municipal city hire them to clean the street that's it.

Took this route many times.
Much cleaner and more orderly than in 2001.

Let's see all the base security, like the vehicle x ray, the pit that you drive over, the barriers, gaurd towers made out of connexes, etc.
