@deec6535

My mother always called an action similar to driving” action “folding.” I wonder if it’s the same thing, or if she just made up the descriptor.

Thanks for sharing!

@ericdofour261

The difference is obvious for we the natives. It is something that looks like fufu, but not the Akan fufuo. The texture when pound is nothing like this

@mariamsulubu

It looks really yummy…

@tinabrooks3045

@BooyouwhOoore

OMG, thank you you for a recipe that I can use without having to find the flour somewhere. All these stores only sell coconut fufu and I don’t even understand what that is taste wise.😂 I cannot wait to try this!!! Thank you!!

Beautiful! But nothing more mesmerizing than Watchung the rhythm of rhe pestle and mortar action! That process just amazed me when I was a kid living in Ghana and Togo😮 I was SURE the ladies would get their hand POUNDED! 😊
I miss miss MISS the SMELLS and taste of Africa😊❤

how does fufu taste like, I would love to give it a try one day, but I don't want to waste it in case I don't like it (it wouldn't go to waste, I'd still either eat it or try to incorporate it into some other dish lol)!

@sheepaulie

Is it something similar to a bread roll?

Don’t let it’s looks fool you, that banana looking fruit is a potato in disguise, that bad boy is really good for frying as well
