Am so happy to see the plantain leaves still being used in serving Waache the scent of the leaves takes me back to elementary school days😋

Mum never allowed as to use the the sorgum leaves, just the bicarbonate and came out nicely, the leaves are just for colour.

My FAVORITE dish as a Ghanaian. I’d pick Waakye OVER Jollof rice, minus the fried fish and the pasta. I don’t know about the avocado though.
