  1. Its so sad that we have to resort to protesting to get basic services. At least Phoenix is taking a stance and attempting to change the status quo. If everyone does the same thing then we have a chance at making this country better for ALL its citizens. We deserve better.

  2. This government needs to go that's the problem. The government has all the rights against The eThekwini Municipality and we are their people and they need to make sure we have water

  3. Please if u expect service delivery from our current rulers u got to b kidding – only Western Cape is where one gets the right service delivery – voting is just around the corner – do the right thing. Yes u have a small voice so dream on.

  4. Durban/eTekwini municipality is collapsing. Its becoming a failed municipality. Durban use to be the most popular tourist destination, not anymore its now a third world destination with e-coli in the beach not safe to swim.

With no water poor people are not being employed by these small business because they are closing down. eTekwini economy is collapsing.

  5. People. My opinion , Water and lights situation only got bad after the "July unrest" about 2 years ago. We are being victimised for the action of a few at thattime.

  6. Why did that black policeman shoot an unarmed Indian female and murder her. This was a peaceful march. I hope all the people can see this is an act of racism . That policeman will get what's coming to him even if the law deals with him.

There are many other violent protests by Black people , burning tyres and stoning vehicles but they don't get shot with rubber bullets.

  7. When it’s black people who block traffic when they protesting. People say it’s hooliganism. Just imagine if in Umlazi we can just block the road with a huge crane what will happen 😂😂 ey this South Africa is very funny

  8. This is not a political thing to those idiots referring to it. This is basic services we are not receiving. Who can live like this. It’s unconstitutional! And if political, how nasty is the anc or eff to stop a critical need just because you don’t like the party the community supports. And to the DA you have not shown up, you have no power. Very disappointing that members of the community put their livelihoods in your incapable hands.
