What's behind the creation of the Alliance of Sahel States? | Inside Story
Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger have come together to form the Alliance of Sahel States.
Each is ruled by a military junta – and that’s led to a split from the larger West African regional bloc, ECOWAS.
The three military rulers have pledged to support each other against outside threats and internal security challenges.
But can they find…

Mali and Burkina Faso will become more and more Islamic Caliphate, controlled by different extremist groups (ISWAP, JNIM, Katiba Macina, etc). Malian army make attack also on its own people, especially in Tuareg and Fulani regions and local people turn themselves on its own militias (Azawad forces and different islamic extremist groups). Consequence: islamization, closed public schools, etc. Said, but true.
English Aljazeera is defenitely Pro-Western, no doubt about that.. as for security of the 3 states with out western countries, in my opinion it will improve, however we can expect more arms and even open support for the terror groups by expelled countries. Untill this point support was on minimum just to justify their presence however from this point on they will want to take control back… Insallah, Turkiye, Iran and others will help balance it out by arming and training new government and military.
One of the most important days in the history of humanity.
They are right Yahowah will make a way for them.
Since ECOWAS has been proven to be a European TOOL.
Since ECOWAS is headed by Africans and manned by Africans.
Since ECOWAS was designed to manage AFRICAN ECONOMIC AFFAIRS; then FOREIGN INPUTS AND DEMANDS should NOT be entertained.
Since FOREIGN INTERFERENCE has long since been established. ECOWAS should be put into hibernation and the old EXECUTIVE should be removed and a new EXECUTIVE, which is unaligned with the OLD REGIME be established.
In addition a "WATCHDOG" committee should be established headed by Madame Quow to ensure the entity under a new name, serves the interest of Africa ONLY.
ONLY THEN should any effort be made to merely approach the AES, who would be free to say YES OR NO OR YOU ARE ON FIVE (5) YEARS PROBATION.
Should the New Entity be caught entertaining FOREIGN INPUTS OR ANY FORM OF INFLUENCE, the member(s) responsible should be dismissed with loss of all pension type entitlements.
The 11 agreements signed between France and its colonial territories in West Africa: 1. The colonial debt for reimbursement of the profits of colonization 2. Automatic confiscation of national financial reserves 3. The right of first refusal on any raw or natural resource discovered in the country 4. Priority to interests and French companies in public markets and public calls for tenders 5. Exclusive right to supply military equipment and train military officers of the colonies 6. The right for France to deploy troops and intervene militarily in the country to defend its interests 7. The obligation to make French the official language of the country and the language of education 8. The obligation to use the CFA franc (franc of the French colonies of Africa) 9. The obligation to send to France, an annual balance sheet and a state report of reserves 10. Renounce any military alliance with other countries, unless authorized by France 11. The obligation to ally with France in the event of war or global crisis
The bottom line is the West is destabilizing African countries .
They have Guinea 15:40
Very good news ❤
I feel bad for the old man. You can see n hear the colonial fear in what he says😢 Anyway, we will see the vision for him. He will live to see a day when his children n grandchildren take back the continent and create what we all dream of. It is well…
AYYE Let’s go AFRICA‼️‼️‼️
You'll never learn the truth about Africa by listening to Arabs and their European Brothers, the A.E.S. 🇳🇪🇧🇫🇲🇱 have their own news network, go to the source if you truly care, go to the source.
They're not the only military governments in africa, let alone in west africa or even Ecowas, let alone the only military governments to have come into power through a coup in recent years.
So why the excessive propaganda and slander campaign against them from these foreign media outlets??
Could it be because they go against the interests of your financial backers in the west??👀
Aljazera doing the standard western narrative when reporting on events in Africa wasn't on my bingo card today.😅
Your commentary sounds like Al jazir, has been propagandized.
The stakes are high for Western countries as they're going to lose their source of income.. It appears
AES Like Kenya is trying to.
Obtain freedom for their populations.
AES No longer want to see their population in poverty. Is Al jazer Advocating.
For AES To stay on the Plantation.?
In recent interview European Union's head of foreign policy Josep Borrel said African Intellect is Questionable which means he sees Africans as Slaves it Contempt of the highest order
Bye bye sea ports
The ecowas should be ashamed of themselves with their western fathers
So glad these states are doing self-determination. Its important we end the exploitation of the global south, if the people in that country can benifit from the resources extracted, that's a good first step
Al Jazeera reporting still biased towards the status quo, let these countries decide their own future, i hope they set the precedent across the whole continent
African Unification is happening and I'm so down for it
I hope Africa will be fully united and use all the materials and man power they have combined to crush the west
Much love from MLs of America
Ecowas is a useless body. Burkina Faso , Niger and Mali shouldn't regret their actions.
To start fighting against Western sponsored terrorism in their countries and get their people benefit from their natural resources. The West have been far too greedy in Africa, this could have been a 50-50 relationship! Has France built one nuclear plant so BF could get electricity? Never in all their decades of colonisation and oppression.

@ronkelardner6678 stop lying..are they not enjoying peace..what they have now is better than war. …… So, bubusik88, your comment is too vague. What lie are you referring to, and who are the 'they' who are now enjoying peace? Could you kindly be more specific so that I can understand your comment?
