  1. Oh myyyyyeeee, my, my, my, my,
We used to go to the Port City of Lourenço Marques, in Mozambique, to get our langoustines, lobster, shrimp, fish, in the early 70s.
After 1975, many Mozambican / Portuguese families had joined us in South Africa where I grew up.
I was schooled with many of their children and ate their incredible cuisine.
The 80s had us frequenting their restaurants and bakeries.
The green grocers fed our homes.
Coming into adulthood there were less and less of them.
Vilamoura was a restaurant I would frequent on my visits back to South Africa.

Mozambican Portuguese food is a no-coming-back situation.
    You'll crave it forever,
    once you've tasted it.
A Mediterranean-African mix of all seasons in your mouth.
You'll never come back from it.

  2. Looks amazing. I have to try it. To bad I'm the only one who likes seafood. You couldn't pay my 100% Portuguese husband to even try this. Good, all the more for me. 😂😂
