How the killing of Yahya Sinwar shattered Israel’s narrative | The Listening Post

Claims that Yahya Sinwar was hiding in tunnels surrounded by captives, beneath civilian centres in Gaza, were used to justify Israel’s genocidal assault on the enclave. The Hamas chief’s killing, above ground, following a firefight with Israeli forces, undermines many of the narratives that have come from Israeli officials and news outlets…

  1. Correction: 1400 were killed (like Israel, you do the injustice of not counting the Palestinian resistance force) That leaves about 1200 Israelis. About 300 of those were active Israeli combatants and therefore legitimate targets. Out of the remaining 900, at least 300 were killed by Israel’s Hannibal directive. The remainder (well short of the 1200 usually quoted) were non combatants illegally killed by Hamas fighters and their allies and which constituted war crimes. 250 mixed hostages were taken, 117 of whom have been returned – 105 through prisoner exchange. Of the 133 not accounted for many have been killed by Israeli bombing or execution.

  2. I am ardent critisizer of Al-jajeera but i have become stant praiser of lady anchor conducting interview, just how her phonetics are clear as if even pervert Brits cant speak their own language with such fluency!❤ you missy

  3. how many palestinians died because of sinwar ?? how many humans died ? how many palestinians he killed by his own hands without any trial..

sinwar is a coward that made tunnels for himself and hamas and left all gazans to die without any shelter. anyone who thinks sinwar was a hero, think agian…

  4. I had this in the back of my mind reading the Bible the Jews are not what we been taught are. Glad to grow up and see for myself what kind of people the israeli and Jews are. I now understand who and why they killed Christ.
The same people who killed Christ are the same people who are killing the Palestinians.

  5. To be so desensitized as Israeli's have been over decades, it is impossible to retain their humanity – they have evolved into something else – something utterly depraved –

  6. A 20 minute must view for anyone wishing to take an objective current view of Israel's politics. A detailed historical ( 1948 to 1993) evaluation of they key points where the United Nations and United States failed to achieve a resolution would be a much needed 20 minute Listing Post subject – just one minor example that needs illustrating is the ownership and history of Gaza itself since 1948.

  7. "Off two evils, choose neither."

    We know our true colors
We know who we really are
We are evil and have fallen short of God's glory
We love war and celebrate war while we hate peace

    But for example
Sudan is very peaceful today 🇸🇩
People there are honoring Sinwar's life in the streets
There are no Israeli airstrikes there

    Myth VS reality
This is a silly comment and comparison

  8. Wait a minute – so this person known as the 'butcher of yan Khunis' – who was previously imprisoned in Israel for murdering not jews, but his fellow Palestinans – is somehow still being celebrated as a hero in Palestine? No wonder that place is all messed up – the people living in there don't know what's good and evil.

  9. Take away from the Zionist militant's video clip is that a most committed Palestinian freedom fighter who was brutally tortured and dismembered, fought on the battlefield till his breath.
