  1. I thought 9.58 was the fastest of all time! People WORDS don't do this! WHY GIVE PEOPLE THE IMPRESSION THAT THEY ARE GREATER THAN THEY REALLY ARE only for the.poor young man to crash! Get well soon young man

  2. People need to stop hyping up their videos. It's not the fastest 100 m of all times when UB was running most of the runners ran faster than the top three in this race. Absolutely ridiculous

  3. They both should receive Gold. Same time within a millionth of a sec? I didn't know it is the chest that wins the race. It is like in drag racing It isn't whose front of the race car trips the line first, it is the engine. That is not common sense. Anyway, congrats Noah.

  4. How can a race be the fastest of all time if the winner didn't break the current WR or OR? You're premise is incorrect; I guess you could add up all the runners totals, but that'd be ridiculous.

Lyles ran his arse off and did well, as did the while field. But until someone beats Usain's time, they have not run the fastest 100m ever.

  5. Usain Bolt did it in 9.58 seconds. Of all time? Goodness, check the stats and it is easy to google it. Second for second snapshot, Bolt will be about 7 feet ahead of Lyle at the finish line based on the timings. People these days just swallow hook, line, and sinker without doing more research easily available online. and that is pathetic..

  6. The commentator must say, the closest dash of all time, not the fastest dash of all time. The winning time in this race would have gotten bronze in the 2012 final race which is actually the best 100m of all time

  7. The rule is that whoever torso crosses the line first is the winner. 1996 Marlene vs. Gail jamaica should get gold then. It is torso at convenience when you all feel like it.

  8. Bro, I used to think that you were the absolute Einstein when it came to track and racing, but it seems even you are lacking when it comes to this race and the RULES for breaking ties.
The Olympics robbed Kishane of the gold. They broke their own rules again to suit whatever narrative they wanted. Case in point, the 100m women's race in 2008 when Shelly came first, a silver was rewarded to both 2nd and 3rd place finishers. The rule states that during the HEATS, in case of a tie, the times will be rounded to the thousands of a second. In the case of medals, the time would be rounded to the HUNDREDS. So in this case, both rounded up to 9.79 and so BOTH should have been awarded the gold, not rounded to the Thousands of a second to give Lyles the win. I blame both the Olympic body AND the Jamaican Olympic committee because they should have been aware of this ruling and filed an appeal within 30 mins of the decision.

  9. Wish Simbine my countryman made it on to podium. So close but could only make fourth again, he was fourth in last Olympics 😢

South Africa is so proud of him, hope he doesn’t lose hope 💕🇿🇦

  10. I think "depth" of the race has a lot to do with feasibility of medaling. Everyone was so close this year because everyone still had an equal chance to medal in the last 10m.

Back in the Bolt / Blake / Gay / Powell / Gatlin era, it almost seems like a lot of people eased up at the end because there was almost no chance to medal.

  11. Considering how well everyone ran, I would say better times are possible from this group, but probably for 2025 championships. Maybe not everyone running this fast, but I think the top 3 will be faster.

  12. Lyles is a fan: “I watched a few videos. I watched Total Running Projections. I’m a big fan of the YouTube channel. I watched … people playing video games. Then I fell asleep”

  13. Watching this final i have so many questions about pole vaulting. What was the 62 that mondo asked for from officials? Hiw did he cut his hand? Did the second place athlete also cut himself and bleed all iver himself? I thought his arm and neck were covered in red streaks. I see some vaulters using chalk and others using tar? What else is used ro improve grip? I could go on

  14. Greetinz!in 2004 olympics-jusin gatlin won in 9.85secs-asafa powell who was fifth proved to be the fastest man making and breaking world records-not gatlin-now noah did 9.79secs?is he the fastest man?-the fastest time is 9.77secs in 2024!-can noah do leading time?-wen that happens-he will be the fastest man-chew dat!,

  15. Kishane Thompson lost the gold because he leans backward during much of the race and even more pronouncedly at the finish. Its almost as if he switches on the brakes near the finish line. He needs to work on running through the finish line and on leaning forward, straining to break the tape. Bad coaching and inexperience cost him the gold medal. Still no runner approached Bolt’s record. Quit saying that this was the fastest 100m. Of all time when it’s obvious that Bolt’s 9.58 is still the record.
