Just a slight correction, the Democratic Alliance isn’t right leaning, it’s a centrist party made up of Liberals and Conservatives alike. It’s not just popular with white South Africans it’s also popular with coloured and black South Africans (most of the time). However the other party that is popular amongst white Afrikaners are the Freedom Front Plus lead by Pieter Groenewald.

The MK is not left. It is a Zulu nationalist party which wants the country to return to some form for pre-colonial traditional rule. This is not feasible nor desired by the vast majority of South Africans.
