Nigerian leaders, it seems are making a mockery of the electorate. The excuses they're making up for non performance are just too lame to make any sense. Nigerians as a people will expect a national Party like the APC to have an agenda for national development that propagates from term to term not from one leader to another. As a party they would have an agenda for keeping their flag bearers on a certain determinable path, not leaders flying off on a tangent or making it up as they go. Two hundred and twenty million plus citizens expect a national party to be cohesive, straight forward and ready to justify the actions of previous leaders. Playing the blame game is for mischievous toddlers and teenagers trying to escape the wrath of parents, teachers, headmasters and other authority figures after playing a prank. If the APC party is not a party of pranksters, then they owe it to the citizenry to accept the truth, no matter how bitter and find ways to turn a new leaf. The courts, the church and other religious bodies believe every sinner needs to admit and then confess their sins before they can be granted succor.
