  1. Why the second medal in 56 years? Better stated, the second in the last 3 Olympics.* Rupp won silver int he 10,000M in 2012 American distance racing in track and field is making a resurgence.

  2. Wow dude, amazing, good job! Only the 2nd medal in the sport for usπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ in 56 years, congratulations on medaling and thank you for winning bronze for us here in the US! Amazing job to all 3 medalists!

  4. I’m sorry, but anyone who doesn’t think America has a chance to win any given event is crazy. Sure it’s unlikely in distance running or ping pong… but there’s always a chance!

  5. Give Grant Fisher a Parade USA!! Yes, Grant set it off! He got me crying too because I myself was a mid distance runner and always been told the Americans can never run the distance events against the Africans. He set the precedence and fire on the rest of USAs both men and women distance runners as well as the others on team. Cole Hocker and Neguse followed by the gutsy steeple chaser on that last lap to get silver against an all time great in El Bakali. Very emotional for me man. Also Galen Rupp deserves credit as well.

  6. no one talking about how he could’ve won silver but the ethiopa runner came outta nowhere at the very end, I feel like Fisher could’ve put a bit more effort at the end to keep that silver
