I wanted to find out what the cost of groceries were at a local supermarket was in South Africa. It was shocking to see the amount of money people would have to pay every week or month just to feed…

  1. Hey SG trust you all gud ..missing them vids😂❤❤❤ i only checked ur midmar dam second nyting of camping only nw. And i noticed how you got stuck by undercarriage..small advice bru..maybe next tym you can be stranded with no tow help😢😮…wat you can do is jack car up closest to which ever tyre is affected ..once you have car freed from undercarriage youll notice tyre up off the ground ..so nw insert rocks stone branches watever close by under that tyre then release jack then undercarriage will be clear of ground or surface then drive off slowly..sumtyms it might little extra stones even like set behind tyre as well all depends how much forward you drove onto hightened surface eg like half metre firward then stones will need to be abt same distance behind tyre😮😂❤lets not hope it happens but probably sumone else can read and try it one…even if front drive wheel is spinning in a ditch. Do the same jack up tyre high as possible then install the prop or rocks under tyre to give traction once jack released😮😅😂❤

  2. California is getting expensive as well , thousands are moving to other states. Greedy politicians have taken over , it's just as bad as SA in some Cali cities…..🙏

  3. Very informative! Not shopped in SA in a while. In UK we have to pay for our packets / bags too and I think our prices here are about double SA…a loaf of brown bread is about R35 (£1.50) and the other week I paid R300 (£14) for a kg of litchis here in London 😅

  4. I am living in the Netherlands (originally from Chatsworth) I watched probably all the videos on your channel. Great work.

For reference, these are Rand equivalent prices here in the Netherlands:

    Loaf of white bread: R28.5
    2l sunflower oil: R98
    1kg Basmati rice: R51
    1kg chicken pieces: R147

  5. Thanks for the reality check. But I usually shop at pick and pay qualisave or shoprite. I find them to be cheaper. Please do the exact same grocery again at these stores and compare. Would I be accurate?

  6. At least you got some lekker food. I appreciate PnP, the quality is good and they do have specials to cater for everyone. Food is generally expensive everywhere in the world at present, these wars may trigger a recession, hole the us don't puff there chest anymore, so sick of them.

  7. I live in DBN and hardly do my full monthly/weekly shop at P'NP by the sea but I do check them out on certain items were their promotions make it worth it. Budget has alot to do with that and Nappies are currently killing me but BabyCity is weirdly economical 😅 , great vid though. I generally don't go over R4K a month and that's mainly because of the new born
