For every culture or society there is always the good and bad side. A bad side of our Ghanaian culture or society is the immense pressure on women to have children – if a woman wants to have a child it’s ok and if she chooses not to or cannot have a child that’s also ok.
I have seen this type of pressure up close and it’s not fair at all. The reality is that not every women will have a child and we have to value them regardless.
