The world’s second-largest economy faces a number of headwinds, including lower growth rates and high youth unemployment.

One of the biggest issues China faces is fixing its embattled real estate sector.

Govt cannot do social housing either. Most people already have a home. 90% of households have a home. And they have 200 mn empty flats. 10% households means only 30mn homes. what will china do with 150mn empty homes?

@mattburrito

dark side of china they build useless cities and totally abandoned them like the walking dead 🧟‍♀️

@Agatha.wayne0

Housing crisis, health crisis, cost of living crisis, debt crisis, inflation crisis, EU war crisis, middle East crisis. How many crises can a koala bear? I'm approaching retirement with comfortable millions, yet scared of a banking crisis. Where do I best grow my money?

@Jonny-o3l

China always does this. In 20 years, they will all be full. It's called planning for the future. Something the west is unable to do.

@mews56

China would probably need to source employees from other sources to find workers in the short term to complete the unfinished jobs. Like Africa, Vietnam, North Korea, Mongolia or Russia. While selling the unfinished vacant houses for pennies or $1 dollar like Italy does. In hope from the Government they don't remain unfinished or abandoned

@TheRachag

They should sell those homes for $1 like Italy

@rlav6829

let America build something like this for its citizens and brag.

I have a real estate company in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We are honored by investors.

@SAMMIE0998

They are buying up homes in other countries but cant even help there people

@antnauman

Can't understand the concept of an empty housing. If it's cheap, someone should get it. People around the world are dying to get a few square meters of place and here we have abandoned buildings just because of little things?

@latymz

All these ridiculous comments about how some would rather live in this situation versus the west. 50 cent soldiers doing what they do. Complain and get arrested and possibly disappointed. No one wants to live there. Utter nonsense.

@SLAPERZZ1

The country full of houses that fall apart and roads that disappear into sinkholes🤣🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ entire buildings just fall down. The can’t even get that right 😂😂

@Pradeepkumar-fb9zp

China is ready for apocalypse. "we're ready for WWIII". China has built most "ghost cities" than any other country in the world.

@RaquelPanayaman

GOVERNMENTS DO NOT HAVE HUMANS’ BEST INTERESTED CONTRARY TO WHAT THE GOVERNMENTS ADVERTISE. THE ADVERTISE FALSE HOPES AND DREAMS ON THIA PLANET. ROADS COULD HAVE BEEN PAVED WITH GOLD ON THIS PLANET; INSTEAD ITS PAVED WITH HARD DRUGS, LIQUOR AND CIGARETTES. FAILED PLANET.

@jesvschrist

WORLD BANKING SYSTEMS ARE SCAMS DESIGNED FOR A FEW TO BENEFIT WHILE ENSLAVING THE REST

@jesvschrist

MAYBE JUST GIVE EM AWAY FOR FREE INSTEAD OF ALWAYS TRYING TO “CAPITALIZE” ON EACHOTHER.

@jesvschrist

WORLD SO EVIL THEY MADE IT ILLEGAL TO TELL THE TRUTH ABOUT THE MATTER. THIS IS A FAILED SPECIES AND FAILED PLANET.

@Aitch-102

It's got a BS crisis, not a housing crisis.

@duckmanone5435

At least there are no homeless in China having excess housing. The only cause of this is that the 'west' is either in recession or close to it and have stopped buying yet they deflect the causes onto China. Go look at the malls and shops closing all over USA and UK and most of Europe today! The sanctions on Russia and the war caused by Nato expansion are all backfiring but they are too arrogant to admit it. The sabotage of the Nord Stream pipelines has deindustrialised Europe yet barely a whimper from Europeans and USA is profiting by replacing that energy with exorbitantly priced US gas.

The MIC, the wars and the 800 military bases around the world are helping to put USA further and deeper into debt. The interest alone is $2.5 billion per day! Deficit spending over decades has that debt soaring past $35 trillion with no resolution is sight in the foreseeable future. USA cannot afford a war and their creditors are quietly dumping US treasuries as fast as possible. China bailed USA out of the 2008 financial crisis caused by Wall St but who has the capacity or inclination to bail out the USA today? 85% of the world are not following the USA sanctions on Russia, China or Iran, they know who has caused the wars and frictions over the last 75 years and are scrambling away from a weaponised $USD and the Euro is fast following it into decline.

Why is it that Russians cannot compete in the Olympics under their own flag because of a war they they did not cause or start (2014) yet USA has invaded and bombed many sovereign countries and not a protest in sight in 'western' media – Afghanistan, Vietnam, Iraq, Yugoslavis, Syria, Iraq, Nicaragua, Haiti, Cuba, Juju Island in Korea . . . . ?

@ruifenghuang1029

Anyone that still clings on to this housing bubble crisis stuff doesn't understand that China's economy already transitioned. Why 100% tarriff on Chinese EV, solar panels, overcapacity talk.
