One thing I really like about Madagascar 2 is that it’s one of those sequels that’s way better than the predecessor.
The zoos don't go to reserves and capture lions and other animals. Those were poachers. When they grabbed a lion cub, they took the opportunity to try to sell it alive, rather than dead.
