  1. I don't know what kind of leaders we have, instead of accepting responsibility for their failures, they keep on casting aspersions. What happened to the immigration and customs?😊

  2. Shettima is a big liar….. Who will transport rice and other food items to outside Nigeria to go and sell them at a lower price and even so is it a crime if I decide to export my own goods the same way the Nigeria government import Toyota cars instead of Nigeria made vehicles shouldn't I be allowed to do that freely

  3. There is an international market in Illela, what has been sold there from time immemorial for the international market,? This clueless government is now calling them smugglers!

  4. Just 8 months in office and they have already ruined the country to the level it is now. And all we hear is sponsored, are you kidding me? The truth remains, these people have nothing to offer us, more protest is needed, to liberates ourselves, from these tyrants.

  5. Are smugglers in govt? We getting tired and bore with FG's unwarrented, flimsy excuses. They seem to be sitting on the fences and flying to and fro with Nigerians economy being utilized. Apkabio and Shettima says the protests are being sponsored. Incomprehensbly incredible ! Enough of these unwarranted, undue and irrational beating about the bush. Actions are being expected and not while their stores are being refilled momentarily, they seem unbulged and uncaring. Having identified these routes of smuggling the food out of the nation, will this then end this nightmare? Something should be done. Akpabio has always been against the citizens being brought out of sufferage. Akpabio please let the poor breathe. You ruled a state for 8yrs and still on the throne. Aren't you able to let the poor breathe? Stop your flimsy excuses for goodness sake. Come off your dousy state.

  6. What Nigerians looking further to is the steps taking to ensure reduction in prices of food. some development like this , the planting season is here again, state has beef up security in endangered area, what has been done in area of bandit fighting farmers and creating fear not allow them togo to their farms. If nothing is done about securing the life of farmers , food cost will still be high despite measures taken. Most export traders don't really care about the farmers, but what they will make from selling their products. Even if the price of grains are high, traders will only look for profit. What government should look into also is sensitizing the farmers, after some level of farmer safety has been met. People are scared to farm and most bandit and kidnappers, these days operate in the bushes and also the boko haram too.
