  1. I avree with this sister. My mother used to say that money is burning a hole in my/our pockets! So many of us when we obtain money we immediately spwnd it on something! Alot of times its something that we really dont need! I needed a new car but I have never brought one because I didnt want to pay a car note and full coverage for a vehicle that is not realy mines! We have to be smart about moneg and my money grew up poor but she helped me learn to save money and not to put it all in a bank!

  2. It is tough growing up black and poor In the good 'ole USA! I grew up in the housing projects in Athens, GA with no A/C in the summer time in sweltering heat in the summer. No mobility, no options, food scarcity. My grandmother was our rock and she too grew up dirt poor. She was a warrior and a very fierce guardian of her assets throughout her life even after she became comfortable financially. No one cares about our struggles.
