  1. REST IN PEACE, DIKEMBE MUTOMBO!!!!! You are forever an NBA icon, and the finger wave is still iconic!!!!! NO NO NO NO ☝🏿☝🏿☝🏿☝🏿☝🏿☝🏿☝🏿☝🏿☝🏿

  2. Oh, no. From houston, my heart breaks. Why wasn’t this in my feed? How am I learning of this from “Have I Got News for You”? A wonderfully incisive, insightful news pundit parody show, but still. He was a GIANT, in every sense of the word. I weep, as I type this.💐

  3. Utterly gutted to see him gone. One of the all time greats – once as a player, and then even more so as a man. I owned two of his jerseys as a kid, had his posters on my wall, even wrote a college essay about him. Never met him, but miss him terribly. A true icon of sport

  4. He was a beautiful person. He was also an ideal MAN. Dikembe was a hero. Strong but selfless. Hard but compassionate. If what I believe is the afterlife, Mr Mutumbo just took the fastest elevator to heaven. What a GOOD man.
