Hello Josh. I'm wondering why on Ultras you don't have a backup (real) GPS. I use a Garmin handheld (mounted on a Garmin handlebar mount) which runs off 2 AAs. Waterproof, runs for ages on those batteries, plus has tracking and satelite texting as emergency communication. I can understand cyclist's common use of Wahoos and cycle specific Garmins etc but for the very little extra weight and dependability, surely it's something to consider? And you can use it for sailing, paddleboarding, driving, basically any sport. Not much it can't do!

@aintnothingbutmamils

It was a very tough race Josh we were behind you but the ground conditions were awful so we took the short route and finished on Sunday night. Nice video

@DudeSauce89

Was the clip with the InReach at McDonalds a discussion around Nav Devices? I have an inreach but the Nav is pretty simpmistic, been debating on figuring out a mount for it

Bienvenidos in a couple of weeks! What event are you coming over for? Thanks for the video, weather looked grim!

@thereal_deo

Gutted for you on the electrical failure but it’s all miles in the bank.

@MP-th4nx

You do an amazing job producing these video's Josh, and allowing us to travel with you. Brilliant footage and music. Thank you for doing them.

@999shaznay

The weather looked grim Josh. Hopefully better in Spain!!

@themoodyteam

Are you saying that you wouldn’t have pushed yourself ‘in the red’ if your Wahoo/phone had been working?
I didn’t quite understand.

@biking261

I had the similar happen on a very wet Audax in Wales a number of years back. Stuff happens……

@justride2169

you`re eating while riding. rain didn`t stop you though. amazing

@PumpkinVillage

To bad about the electronics. Are you staying with the Wahoo? That weather looked brutal. Good luck on you next ultra. Take care, Al
