Aside from the knockdown I thought the fight was close. Maybe Canelo by one round plus the knockdown. Berlanga whistled several right hands past the face of Canelo, if one of those had landed it would have been interesting to see if Canelo could take them. Canelo has one of the best chins in the sport, Berlanga is a big boy and his hands are heavy.
That push from the ref as he was already walking away would have got him a quick 1 -2 .
