I know a number of South African individuals and families of both British and Afrikaans descent who now live in the UK. Their reasons for moving are mostly the same: rampant crime, and a general sense of decay of South African society with increasing corruption, racial hostility among all groups, power cuts and scaling back of civic services. For a while it did look like SA was going to be Zimbabwe 2.0 with the ANC and even more so if they got into bed with the EFF. Hopefully with the ANC working with the DA they can get SA back on course to what the likes of Mandela envisioned for the country. It has so much potential for all South Africans.

Dear South Africa, It's happening everywhere. Britia8n, Europe, North America, Australian, New Zealand. Everywhere.
