There are many successful black ppl in Canada without the church’s help. We don’t need their help… God got us without them. Plus.. Historically, The schools we built decades ago when we got here, were the most prestigious in the country… Look it up, so it won’t seem like I’m trying to convince you of my point. 👊🏿 Our communities built bonds between us based on culture and necessity. So the support we needed, came from each other. Now, could we use more support amongst ourselves? .. Definitely… Could we use more Self education about our history, of course.. But we don’t need it to come from the religion… They’ve done enough dividing for now. Christians, Catholics.. etc… Will all answer to the same God.. No one in between. I agree with this woman about we should build in Africa or the Caribbean or any black country but I think we definitely need black schools here as well. They reason why is many but we need black teachers to teach us in every field so that we can take our knowledge and share with our African brothers and sisters. Churches are useless schools and businesses move us forward, not religion.
