Please Note: This Video is for 35+ year old US travelers heading to Europe. Young Europeans do wear most of these styles and trends, but the 35+ European crowd do not wear them to the same extent. I say wear what is comfortable. Especially shoes. You need comfortable shoes.

i kind of disagree about the khaki, bcs you can safely wear khaki coloured chinos where i live (central europe). but maybe i misunderstood?
I have a foot problem. I could not wear ordinary shoes and this popular expensive rubber shoes makes me comfortable. I have like more than 200 shoes but this particular rubber shoes is ok for me

My daughter in law 0:50 is Vietnamese.when travellings in Vietnam, I asked how not to look not like a tourist?
She said "lost cause, you will always look different.

Actually you can wear all of those things (and pretty much anything else) here in Europe without any problems (maybe excluding some churches).
Tourists wear comfortable clothing to travel. It’s not a fashion runway.
I was in Germany at a conference in May 2024 – everyone wore athletic shoes because they said it was more comfortable. I went back to my hotel on a break and changed out my dress shoes for running shoes and fit in much better

Loads of Europeans wear Khakis, and absolutely no one is going to be phased by a baseball cap. They sell them all over in the shops.
