  1. Landmark owner na "wayo" man. He bought the beach from one baale "local chief" Why didn't he buy it from Lagos state or federal government? I let you figure out the answer

  2. Landmark owner making false claims about the property worth $200 million and employing 20,000 na lie, let him post payroll showing 20,000 employee and investment receipts total $200 million liars everywhere

  3. This station is so bad in reporting. They are Peter obi sympathizers.
So lazy analysis, arm chair journalism.
The minister mentioned that the are doing many projected many of them inherited yet this lazy ayo is saying why not focus on abandoned projects.
Wike is reviving abandoned projects in Abuja.
Arise tv is blind to these but continue peddling anti government narrative, borderline incitement

  4. What is the rush to start this Lagos – Calabar Coastal Highway which is going to cause pain without proper EIA? If Federal Government cannot improve the lot of Nigerians, why cause Nigerians more economic hardship by destroying investments in valuable assets.

Why are we spending so much on 47km of new road when the roads are currently servicing the people are in terrible states. This Lagos – Calabar Coastal Highway is ill timed except that it stands to benefit our current President BAT.

  5. Fools everywhere!! And who says there are no free beaches in Lagos? Go there and see the huge amount of filth around free beaches. Landmark spent his money in cleaning up the place and putting up infrastructures yet u want it free?! Is Oniru beach? Or is Kuramo beach free?

  6. Minimum wage in Edo State is now N70,000 thanks to Governor Godwin Obaseki, may God Almighty Bless him richly🎉🎉🎉🎉💃💃💃💃💃💃Why can’t other State do the Same???

  7. Arise TV should tone down their political sensationalizing of development matters.
It is natural for massive infrastructural development to involve the making of sacrifices on the part of some stakeholders
Pushing for the project to be abandoned is like agitating for us to continue with the recklessness of business as usual
No matter the political narratives you are seeking to paint about the Lagos Calabar coastal project you can never underestimate the benefits multipliers.
We can only pray for its timely completion so that the country can reap the sustainable development impacts

  8. We are very antagonistic of any move by the Government becos of political affiliations not because we are interested in the landmark business. The land by the law of the land is on R.O.W and a logical business should not have invested knowing fully well the implication of this. The road to Calabar will open up Nigeria to easy movement of goods and raw materials in the country increasing the aggregate output and greater export opportunity. Also note that we infrastructural deficit that even if we dedicate 50% of our budget consistently for 40years we cannot attain. This administration has taken a leap and we are complaining. The first plan is lagos to calabar and then calabar to borne.Lastly, Lagos to Sokoto.Almost all states will be accessible easily unlike what we have now.Rufai use every opportunity to discourage investors from coming becos of selfish interest. If you truth to yourself, will they be compensated. The conversation should be to engage the minister on the people that may lose their jobs but not on making anti Nigeria comment. If you tired you can go to your chosen country and keep your reality to your pocket cos all ur action here and your personal space are bias and very subjective.I have always believed Nigeria will be great.

  9. Rufai stop confusing people about the lagos calabar ciastal highway. Rufai i put it to you that you are omo ale yoruba. Your shorttmsnism is your problem. The minister was there in your station to explain in details to you abd nigerians so why are you huys confusibg people

  10. Tinubu can't wait to resume tolling on the Lekki-Ekpe expressway, having been kicked out of his Lekki Toll Plaza. Moreover he now sees a chance to extend it across the entire economic nexus of southern Nigeria. Now you know why the hurry. Anyways he's not sure of second term.

  11. What exactly are they bulldozing at the landmark facility? I just wanted to match what Dave Umahi, the Works Minister said on TVC. Chanel's and Arise TV Channels. He said exactly that no part of the Landmark's structures will be demolished.

  12. Rufai and Ayo, the project is on, and your big yeye grammar can't stop the project. If the project costs 100 billion dollars and not naira, the project will be completed. After the project is completed, the Sokoto – Badagry Coastal Highway will start. Please go and visit China, and Japan will see how the governments use highway roads to connect the urban and rural areas. Yeye short-sighted people. The majority of Nigerians supported the project, and no sore losers stakeholders need to be convinced.

  13. "Nigerians are the cause of suffering on Nigerians. ".. yet all you talk about government… never the suffering by Nigerians on Nigerians. Go an investigate these filling station that have fuel but refuse to sell.

  14. I understand everybody ,Why only landmark. arise tv people are talking about,,in that beach ⛱️ line,,alot of other properties going down.they are women being too.. online landmark family don't come for me oh..

  15. Rufai is doing the bidding of his sponsors. He's never being objective in his analysis. So myopic. You're the same guy that will cry about government's responsibilities. Now you are clamoring and advocating for an individual interest against the public interest. Shame. That corridor belongs to the federal government. Learn!

  16. Incidentally, I watched the interview of arise with Minister Umahi and I think Rufai should go and watch the clip. Two things stood out on Rufai’s discourse; 1. He said the minister said the contract was awarded to Hightech because they were the only one that could do the road. This is not true. The minister said the contract was awarded to Hightech because they were the only company that has shown competence in concrete workss that can be seen and verified to have been successful.
    2. Rufai also said that the minister did not have the cost of the total road project. This is also false because the Minister said they have the total cost of the road project and he stated it. What he said was that they didn’t have the cost of the rail project and were still working on it but it is only the road they are considering now. They are only creating a corridor for the rail project for a future date.

I also do not understand his opposition to this project. Our country lacks a lot of critical infrastructure and anyone being built is a plus for the country.

  17. Na only citizen dey make sacrifice, the government no dey make any sacrifice. You people are receiving allowance and salary every month, the citizens are receiving nothing.Yet you guys still the destroy their properties.
God punish you people for there.

  18. Most of the existing uncompleted projects are in comatose because the fund allocated to it ahs being embezzled. And the financiers ar÷not ready to pay 3 tomes th÷original amount to complete it. Nigerians are their own enemy. Tinubu never had uncompleted project as a governor.
Let the man that is able to lead Nigeria ou of this doldrums, lay the foundation for future oncoming president. Stop all this unreasonable and tribalistic critisim. Be objective and non bias in yor criticism, and you will be appreciated.

  19. You guys are -misinforming the general public. I am from EtiOSA, the benefits the coastal highway will bring to us is laudable. It will primarily solve the problem of ocean surge that is taking over communities. You guys should start balancing your news like some reputable medias. The ceo of landmark is just going over news media and misinforming the general public.

  20. What's the rush? The project that has been in pipeline for almost twenty years. Why should landmark be encroaching the government's land? Federal government asked them to produce their approved documents CofO on that land they failed to produce it. What's all these blackmail about? Rufai and his propaganda, nonsensical.

  21. The minister of works has seen a golden opportunity to steal from the govt. how sad! He can't even give a holistic & clear explanation as per cost & it's durations as usual politicians playing chess game with people's mind .
