The Philippines is so rich in resources but our corrupt and incompetent leaders continually screw up on managing them properly. And yet they still get elected.
Time will come that they will no longer catch any fishes even with the use of these fish bombs. Corals play a huge and important role in the marine life.
I’ve watched a different documentary before, but it was about how (Philippine) fishermen stopped using these kind of devices cause they no longer have any fishes to catch. They are now the one’s who’s in a NGO implementing traditional fishing to save coral reefs/marine life.

I was there in SAMAR ,LEYTE in the 90's and I already saw this Dynamite fishing all he time and the Military , Police or what ever did not care about it. Paricularly , I was in Gamay Island ,Samar-Leyte.

It is my wish that all coastal areas in the Municipality in the Philippines should organize themselves to be known as "bantay dagat" funded by the LGUs themselves and not to wait for help from the national government in protecting the sea and natural resources underneath especially against the chinese dredging and island building.

If it's stunning fish then they are in the water, what is the purpose of the bombs replace bombs with nets they use too, it's impossible, not to have fish in the ocean. if there is no fish which i doubt then its something they to doing on that land that is against God it's cursed
There are beautiful areas in the world, which unfortunately man destroys everything.
They can do nothing to stop it.
They dont give other work to the people so how do they eat if there is no work.
It is easy for the Police to take a boat and arrest them but they don't. Not so smart cause one day the ocean will be empty and no life will grow there.
So i hope they get smart and do something about it.
