  1. ….hmmmmmmn ! These kakistocratic malad-administration of this prevailing administration always has a dubious, fraudulent chameleonic loopholes of coming up with incompetent , manipulative and 419 adhoc committees of hydra-headed notorious midsts of defrauding the nigerians populates ; featuring folks the politicians figured are abnegated with British deceptive accents or intonation – to dazzling the general public …..this is all strategically fraudulent avenues of making the collective rogues of the political cabals and their family more richers , while the poor continuing to be poorer. This whole cock n bull strategies ; are all bogus….focus on the dilapidated roads that is un-pliable / un-motorable , and in so doing ; helping the poor folks that travels by roads…Overall, this is all loquacious recommendations to embark on 419 as usual.

  2. Hello Nigerians why do we have to pay to use a mere luggage trolley ??? Isn't this broad day light robbery ? Why do you have very few trolleys at your international airports anyway ??? When you land in our countries you use trolleys for FREE and there are too many. Just scrutinize this video travelers are putting their luggage on the floor, imagine in 2024 !!!! Please upgrade .

  3. Airport in Ogun state with the worst roads in the country, some governors even pay airlines to fly into their states, whats stop them from having a great rail network

  4. Mrs. Kuku's claim here is grossly inaccurate, relative to airports in the Southeast (Owerri and Enugu). Her statements are based on politics instead of economics and statistical facts. According to 2021 data from the Nigerian Bureau of Statistics (NBS), the most recent that's available, Owerri Airport had a combined departure and arrival volume of 583,464 passengers that year, effectively making it the 4th busiest domestic airport in Nigeria after Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt. The NCAA generates annual tax revenue from ticket sales on the Owerri route to the tune of over 5.5 billion naira (13.5% tax on every ticket, assuming the average cost of a ticket is 70,000 naira). That airport does not look like the 4th busiest in Nigeria which earns the federal government such huge revenue because none of that revenue is ploughed back to make the airport nicer and bigger consistent with it's status as number 4 in the country. Might ethnic politics be at play here at the higher echelons of government? I don't know and I am not accusing Mrs. Kuku of that, since I do not know her. In 2021, 508,000 passengers flew in and out of Enugu, making Enugu the 5th busiest in the country. The NCAA earned over 4.8 billion in tax revenue. If Mrs. Kuku is saying that Owerri and Enugu are being subsidized in spite of these humongous revenues, then some folks are stealing these revenues, which will not be a surprise in our "anything goes'' kind of country. The passenger volumes I provided here are from published data from the NBS available on its website.

  5. What do you expect almost every governor owns or flies in a private jet across the country, of course they will even want airports in their backyard, that is what you get in a country where there is no accountability, things are just done hapharzardly without any recourse to logic, where governirs prefer building flyovers in preferenve to human capital development

  6. This woman is too good for this post, Nigeria politicians are pigs most especially government parastaters workers, if you don't want your clothes to get dirty, stay far away from there.

  7. It’s 3 types of people Nigeria as a nation don’t have ,visionary,a deeper thinker and smart people,Nigeria only have smart people and this set of people are not forward thinkers so your nation will be stagnant in vision

  8. The lady left Google to work with criminal politicians of Nigeria. What are you thinking. You will soon realize that Nigeria criminal politicians are dangerous. The cronies are working with you at the major airports. Watch your back as you want to do the right things. Most government workers gain and get their illegal money when things are not working right. Good luck, lady from Google.

  9. So Aunty Bunmi sounds like she has been outside Nigeria. Can she proudly say our number airport is on par with even a county airport abroad?
How do you guys hold positions and leave and don't make a difference?

  10. Subsidizing is the major problem in Nigeria. It breeds tolerance for incompetence and encourages unfit people to thrive in offices that should be beyond their station.

  11. As a young and strongly state to survive Ebonyi state doesn't need AIRPORT for now and everybody was attacking me? Am Ebonyans and that money is a waste, people should think far beyond before you do or say something.

  12. Only MMIA and NAIA commercially viable. Portharcourt is just international by name. Neither Lufthansa nor Qatarr Airways flies into portharcourt International Airport from any foreign country. They first stop over at Abuja both in and out of the country. MAKIA does not have traffic like portharcourt.

  13. The best she can do is to concession the airports to boost revenue streams. A plea to her as well build a World standard international Airport in Lagos. Now that President Tinubu break the jinx of monopoly of northern CRIMINALS, THIEVES, ROGUES who controls FAAN as MD since inception. These northerners have destroyed aviation departments.

  14. What is Nigeria's obsession with building airports? Every governor wants to build an airport. 4 airports account for 95% of passengers of about 35 airports. After spending over $30 million by Enugu, the federal government had to control.

  15. Any governor building new airport in Nigeria is just a money laundering scheme. The contractors get the money, and pay over half of it in bribes to corrupt politicians.

  16. I recall few years back when I make a comment about one othe governor flashing up an airport construction in one of the Eastern state. I asked why isn't this money been used for rail construction which both poor and rich can use, guess what almost of the Easterners came all out for me on that comment. But here we are today waste of resources
