LOL. I watched them backwards. Oh well. The Roman ruins I visited in Turkey were the same. There was literally no one there except our group, and it wasn't even because of Covid. I think the reason is because most tourists who visit North Africa and the Middle East are from Europe, and they don't care about ancient ruins, because they have those at home.
That being said, I noticed that your tour, although I watched it backwards, seemed to focus mainly on movie locations. There are far more interesting places in Tunisia, including in the south, that the tour company didn't showed you. I can't believe they didn't take you to El Jem or Ksar Ouled Sultane.
If you ever decide to come back, you should focus on northern Tunisia next time. Both regions are very different and special in their own way, but for me personally, I feel the best sites, cities and landscapes are in the north of the country.
