New AFRICA TWIN Adventure Sports Unboxing & Start-up

Meet the 2018 Africa Twin Adventure Sports – the 30th anniversary edition. Compared to the basic model, this one comes with better weather protection, larger fuel tank, longer travel suspension and a special color theme. Just like the standard 2018 Africa Twin, it features ride-by-wire acceleration and riding modes.

This is our test-ride…

  1. I recently bought a 2020 DCT and its a beast of a bike. A much more confidence inspiring ride than the supposed top bike in this class. I bought a lowered light smoke screen and uprated the spring on the rear to suit my height and weight. Recently bought a new pair of tyres but have changed to these purely cos I always get Michelin's no other reason. 2020 – 2021 Africa Twin is a great upgrade from this bike.

  2. What a beautiful bike. The only thing that’s stopping me from buying this is the fact it’s got tube tires, and that I can’t live with, will be nothing but a headache. They can easy have spoke wheels with tubeless tires as they done it with the vfr1200 cross tourer. So they can do it, just don’t understand why they didn’t do it for the Africa twin

  3. Hey, great video!
I test rode this a couple of days ago but with the medium seat because my local dealer didn't have any low seats in stock, the bike was amazing, I'm absolutely loved everything about it and what to order one now but……the wind buffeting was horrendous, so much so that even after an hour test ride, I had a headache! This is what is stopping me ordering it, does the low seat eliminate this problem?? Would be Very interested to hear your thoughts? Cheers
