The 12 and 13 mini didn't sell because Apple had them competing with the SE that was far cheaper, and sells extremely well. If the 12 and 13 mini were replacements for the SE and sold at the SE's price they would have sold extremely well, of course people picked the £400 small phone over the £700 small phone with the same specs.
God I had enough of these tech reviewers act like they have no idea how stuff work or can't take a guess.
Most people who buy iPhones buy it to show it off. If you are going to show off something, you need to have best version of it. Nobody buys iPhone because they're cost effective.
If a person is smart enough to buy a cost effective phone, they'll buy an Android. Listing many features and saying without these, its basically the same phone is like saying an HP and Dell laptop are the same if you discount for the fact that internal chipset is different, case is different, ports are different and screen is different but main components are the same performance therefore they are the same!

i miss 7" phones.
There's definitely a profitable market for small phones,
but in the budget category, not premium.

The pro amd pro max are the best selling because the normal one's use year old technology so ur forced to buy the pro and pro max to have a fast and usable phone
i have the zenfone 9. i bought it because it's small. and why i need small, because for a phone, i don't need anything bigger. i already have tablets and gaming laptop for everything else.
i would imagine no one want small phone if they have to choose just 1 gadget to accommodate all their needs
I've always said Asus took the zenfone and stuck it into a ROG body and had the cheek to call it the zenfone 11! And is it doing any better?? I don't think so. I've not seen one in public.
The reason the z9 or z10 didn't sell that well is because they were only available to view and buy on the Asus website. They weren't available in any shop, at least not here in the UK! Dumb move by Asus. They shot themselves in the a.s.s. Bad marketing.
