JDV has no idea how hard many of the "Childless" women AND men tried to hàve babies. I coulld not get pregnant but we were not allowed to adopt because my husband had a disease that would probably cause an early death. He died childless at age 72. Many children lose theìr parents long before his death age, and yet, unless we were rich enough to adopt out of country we could not have children.

I can't believe what the first guy said. He is proud that his family had to work hard to save their farm because they could not afford to buy slaves. So, if they were not poor they would have bought slaves and wouldn't have worked so hard, and would have had lives like the rich farmers who owned slaves.
Shouldn't a 'professional' athlete be expected to take health precautions to stay in good performance health? The window of peak health's time line isn't a sure thing, Aren't their contracts for just a few years typically? Whether pregnant or gaining weight for less noble reasons, that would likely be detrimental to their playing abilities and therefore allowing either to happen would be a 'conflict-of-interests'. Shouldn't athletes be expected to take good care of their health/performative talents?
