Thirty years after the end of apartheid, South Africa still faces many challenges. The generation born after Nelson Mandela came to power in 1994 struggles with poverty, unemployment, and a lack of prospects. But music, which plays a major role in South African society, is a cause for hope in the rainbow nation.

  1. Tebogo Seiso – there are other parties than ANC, EFF & MK. No vote is a vote for the ANC. By voting for another party you change seats in parliament other than the normal ANC corrupt politicians

  2. Such a pity that your country failed to flourish when it has such huge potential and held so much promise under Mandella. I lived there as an immigrant from Scotland when I was 9rs old in the early 70's I hated apartheid and the white South Africans who treated British immigrants very badly. Now as much as they called us and our countries of origin, our cultures ect all manner of crap we now have them crawling all over our country suddenly remembering that many of their ancestors came from our countries and DEMANDING citizenship on that basis. Makes us sick. Love your voice and wishing you and your country every future success .
