When most people think of fishing, we imagine relaxing in a boat and patiently reeling in the day’s catch. But modern industrial fishing — the kind that stocks our grocery shelves — looks more like warfare. Ayana…

  1. Fishing should be in ocean one after another year gap should be one year ocean coral reef some extension species may recover,,,the fisher men should be work the gap one year in agricultural field

  2. THE WORST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD WHICH DIETS ARE 99% FISH BASED FOOD…..EVERY SINGLE DAY FOR 365 DAYS…….FISHES MUST BE CONSUMED IN GREAT AMOUNTS ❗️❗️❗️

THIS COUNTRY HAD DONE SO BADLY IN DIMINISHING SUPPLIES OF FISHES IN OCEANS …….LEAVING THE WORLD TO EAT LESS FISH❗️❗️❗️ SO THEY CAN EAT MORE VERY VERY SELFISHLY ❗️❗️❗️

THAT COUNTRY IS ——- JAPAN 👹👹

  3. FISH IN OCEANS ARE NOW……..DEPLETING ❗️❗️❗️❗️

FISHERMEN, GOVT AGENCIES IN CHARGE OF FISHING INDUSTRIES MUST NOW TAKE ACTION ❗️❗️❗️❗️

THEY MUST BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR DIMINSHING FISHES IN THE OCEANS …..WHICH ARE ALL CAUGHT FREE AND MAKE PROFIT OUT OF THOSE CATCHES ❗️❗️❗️❗️

DOWN RIGHT DISHONESTY IN CATCHING FOR FREE…..AND ACTING OUT AS IF THE OCEANS OWE THEM A GREAT FAVOUR SO THEY CAN BE RICH ❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️

    BLATANTLY OUTRAGEOUS ❗️❗️❗️

IT IS ABOUT TIME…..SOME NEW ORGANISATIONS BY GOVT TO TAKE OVER HOW MUCH CATCHES TO BE MAKE PER SESSION……SO SUPPLIES OF FRESH FISHES IN OCEANS WILL NOT BE DEPLETED FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS ❗️❗️❗️❗️

FOR HUNDEREDS OF YEARS…….HUMANS KEEP TAKING FISHES OUT OF OCEANS…..FOR FREE……. AND NEVER PUT BACK THOSE FISHES WHICH THEY SHOULD NURTURED , THROW BACK SO SMALL FISHES CAN GROW AGAIN

THE WORLD……MUST ACT NOW TO PREVENT
    OVER FISHING ❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️

  4. Our Yukon River king salmon were tossed over until we couldn't fish for them anymore.
And that started in 1998 along with silvers and chums destined for the 2300 mile River. We now depend on donations from Fish and Game and Bristol Bay

  5. as stated in the video, 31% of all fish species are over fished, while 58% are fished to the max. fun fact that's not mentioned in the video, 100% of unsustainable fishing are done by the Chinese, usually by invading coastal waters of other countries which belong to exclusive economic waters of other sovereign nations. when we have no more fish in the ocean, remember we should thank the illegal fishing fleet sent out by orders of the Chinese government to steal fish to extinction.

  7. What can we do to stop overfishing? Mmmmm I wonder, maybe stop eating them unnecessarily?

Queue someone saying 'what about African villages that rely on it'. Clearly not talking about them am I Steve, but I am talking about Joe Bloggs ordering a large fish and chips.

  8. The thing that gets me mad is any ordinary fisherman catching like 5 fish on a trip has to rely on stocked fish and have pretty strict regulations all because massive companies took them all the ordinary people aren't responsible for this nearly as much but suffer anyways

  9. Oceanographer Sylvia Earle gives us until about 2048 for the oceans to be virtually empty of marine life. Unfortunately for human beings, we cannot survive in any form that we know of, without the oceans and the organisms that currently occupy them. We are likely to determine in the near future, that the most impactful cause of global warming has actually been the destruction of marine life which is considerably more influential on the Earth's atmosphere and stasis than that of the forests and land masses. Unless the Earth can develop powerful leadership to force major changes in human culture and behavior over the next 10 years, whatever we do will be too little too late. We have too many people living within our civilization that are captive to yesteryear's information and fiercely resist change at the expense of continuing human society. Human decision-making, as in times past, may instruct humanity, after its deadline has already been consumed.

  10. Boycott fish!
One more reason to go vegan!
I get my Omega 3 from ground flax seeds, walnuts, and algae based supplements.
The only reason fish have Omega 3 is from eating algae, or other fish who do so.

  11. Seafood is my favorite. Living on the coast I used to eat it multiple times daily. Fresh Lobster, snow crab, ahi tuna, cod, salmon, oysters, scallops..i niavely figured that the market would maintain sustainability by price and that if i could afford it that I wasn’t causing any harm.. I now save these things for more special occasions and only eat sustainable seafood. I have developed a huge taste for alaskan pollock, farmed shrimp and mussels, sardines, and imitation crab. If you are creative in the kitchen you can make incredible culinary creations with these ingredients. Its not ideal, but imagine a world without seafood for our grandchildren.. thats the reality.

  12. No, it should never run out of fish because people in mostly all countries and states should always not stop signing a petition, advocating and protesting to save, keep and protect their oceans against pollution and climate change everyday every time they happen until they are stopped forever when they are not going to forget to not stop advocating and protesting to keep, save and protect their seas infinitely Forever everyday without pollution and climate change from as to most.
