as stated in the video, 31% of all fish species are over fished, while 58% are fished to the max. fun fact that's not mentioned in the video, 100% of unsustainable fishing are done by the Chinese, usually by invading coastal waters of other countries which belong to exclusive economic waters of other sovereign nations. when we have no more fish in the ocean, remember we should thank the illegal fishing fleet sent out by orders of the Chinese government to steal fish to extinction.

Seafood is my favorite. Living on the coast I used to eat it multiple times daily. Fresh Lobster, snow crab, ahi tuna, cod, salmon, oysters, scallops..i niavely figured that the market would maintain sustainability by price and that if i could afford it that I wasn’t causing any harm.. I now save these things for more special occasions and only eat sustainable seafood. I have developed a huge taste for alaskan pollock, farmed shrimp and mussels,sardines, and imitation crab. If you are creative in the kitchen you can make incredible culinary creations with these ingredients. Its not ideal, but imagine a world without seafood for our grandchildren.. thats the reality.
