  1. He is saying the truth 1000%. i live in los angeles and it is bloodily expensive, a small studio apartment rent is $1500 and above depending on the area, naija food is expensive like mad, plate of jollof rice is more than $20, your quality of life would be better in naija making N300k than making $3k here

  2. Land lords here want their rent there and then otherwise you’ll get evicted. Moreover it will be marked on your record. Therefore when you want to rent another place the real estate agent will do a background check on you and reject your application based on your previous land lord’s comments. This is in Australia. Not sure if it’s the same in the uk

  3. 19:31 That is how they act back home in Botswana. It hurts me badly that is what I could afford but they want more money and fancy things. I wish people knew exactly what we go through abroad. It is so hard and nothing is easy. I am in Australia.

  4. My brother U nailed it on TOPS 👊👏👍👍 I'm in Dubai n bro hahahahaha I'm just praying to God I got some capital n go back home n start something for myself I don't wanna go home looking for job. Love U all from Cameroon

  5. Nigerians should do research on why some African Americans/whites are relocating to Africa. Also, why Westerners are retiring in Asia- Philippines, Thailand etc. People are saving up to rebuild in Africa. Then why do Nigerians/Africans want to run into the opposite direction?

  6. Unfortunately 'a prophet is without honour in his own country and among his own kin' . . how much more in anotha country . .This biblical scrip sums it all up. THEY DID IT TO JESUS CHRIST IT CAN HAPPEN TO YOU 'the servant is not greater than his Lord' kjv. 🇬🇧

  7. 8. Phrankleen, the way you speak Yoruba, it is obvious you were born and bred in Nigeria. Which method did you employ to migrate and eventually became a.cutuzen?
Why are you going to such great length to discourage others?

  9. You are reminding me that the UK is not a bed of roses. When I tell friends over here about the benefits that the UK has for the unemployed and those who don't earn enough money they drool and go green with envy. If only they knew … Recently I watched doccies about how inadequate those benefits really are. It turns me RIGHT off the idea of returning to the UK because I would never make it on my UK pension. Thanks for being informative about the REAL cost of living back there. It scares me to death!

  10. Good topic. hope our families at home can come across this video. western world is a big prison for us. no going forward and no going back. me i work 12 hours for the past 20 years. snow , heat we must go to work. may God help us oh my people. some people enter pension and they fall sick because of the heavy jobs they did for 35 or 40 years

  11. It's all good what your saying it's so sad that we are all trying to keep up but I got my head down paid off all my cards loans I only have my mortgage which is very small and order from qvc and jdw only I save a small amount each month to cover for my funeral can't go on holidays but have a takeaway some times my phone is sim only and I use the money what I got for Christmas to buy my phone outright. Me and the oldman work but never go overboard you can live your best life if you don't want to live the fast life.
