  1. Spain takes these people in, Provides them with some Semblance of work (Enough that they can send home to ensure their family lives a good life) – And they STILL Complain? Let none of them in. Even more so – I am currently renting a Very nice room in southern Spain for only 180 Euro a month. He isn't a victim.

  2. It's sad to hear that the money he is making is not sufficient to provide for his family. It is a big decision to move to a different country and work that many hours to support your family. He must miss his family a lot. I hope the best for him and his family.

  3. chep …what you thing they can earn 200 eu per day…dont shit..offcours cheap labour must exist like everywhere…this tv reporter is example who fight for them..bloody communist ans socialist

  4. Frankly, 30 euros a day should easily get you a small apartment rented in a rural area, especially if you are willing to share with 1-2 people. I understand that the work might be seasonal but the expectations of these migrants are way too high.

When I arrived in a new country I took any work opportunity I had, worked my way up and didn't give attitude about negative conditions.

Hard workers will get by and nobody should expect handouts in a country where they did not contribute with taxes before.

Labeling this as modern day slavery is just a way for media to get more attention. Most of these people chose to come to Europe.

  5. Africans must be grateful instead of complaoning , i respect their efforts by traveling for better life but they have to stop bitching , were they expecting castle housing?

  6. Start at the bottom and work hard, educate yourself and get a better job. 15000 euros a year, tax free and living in a wonderful country like Spain is a small price to pay for illegal immigrants.

  7. The unfortunate truth is that most of those arriving from Africa and elsewhere have no idea of life in Europe-no language skills, little else but their labour to offer so cannot expect better conditions than the local unemployed, causing a race to the lowest wages ever!
