  1. I’m kinda upset they didn’t break down the scene with Bertiere and Julius in his room in the hospital after the accident he had pulling off the street driving in town. Julius really loved that guy as his friend more than a friend a brother same with Bertiere. Julius said “Ya know? When all this is over we gonna move out the same neighborhood together..We gonna get old and fat?..Ain’t gone be no more of this black and white between us 💯🗣️…” Bertiere was literally crying cause he found a real friend but from a different race which made it special. We all would want a friend that we wanna get old with 😞..This movie was definitely special from a genuine place. Sad Bertiere died though, though he was paralyzed he was never forgotten from the football team and was doing other sports instead for those that are paralyzed from the waist down 💯! Also I love the friendship between Rev and the Big guy! The fact he wanted to tutor him when he ain’t believe he’s smart enough for college was very genuine. Especially when Boone asked him at the camp about his teammate he spoke of him highly and what they have in common. It’s was touching man, I wish Tone and Jah talked about those scenes

  2. The Rev character is implied to be more of a leader than he is shown to be. He's mostly used as a plot device in the Ronnie Bass arc. The ideas is that he got Ronnie where he needed to be as the QB

  3. It's funny Tone mentioned showing this to middle school kids because they showed this to my entire 8th grade class in the auditorium at least 6 times back in '01. It was only like 4 white kids in the school😂😂😂😂😂
