  1. How easy was it for you to vlog? I am trying to apply for a visa there as a Kenyan and one requirement is a letter from ministry of communication in Djibouti to show they have allowed me to vlog there.

  2. Sorry no offence but if I am to be dressed like you it would be hot to me as well.

Edit: you say you're dressed that way due to respect to Muslim mayority in Djibouti. I am sorry but to me it's not respect it's submission. I am from Europe and I don't see Muslims doing the same when entering Europe countries, they behave like they're at home.

  3. This was very interesting Queen Desta, thanks for sharing! Just discovered your channel and will be checking out some of your content. Really surprised to see how busy Djibouti is at night. It was a busy day for you so I hope you managed to get some rest!

  4. Djibouti is expensive because they import everything. There’s no industry or agriculture in Djibouti. Plus Djibouti suffers from the same plethora of problems of African countries such as dictatorship, corruption and mismanagement. Djibouti has been ruled by one family ever since it’s independence. The current dictator has been on power for 24 years. He is corrupt to the core like so many other African leaders. There’s no accountability. Djibouti has no excuse for her population to be destitute. Sadly 75% of her population are dirt poor. Djibouti receives $2b from renting her land to international military bases. It receives hundred of million of dollars from the seaport. It serves 110m landladies Ethiopia. Djibouti has a population of barely 1m. With the amount of income it generates every single citizen would’ve had the right to housing, proper health and proper education. Ofc that is not the case because the dictator is obese from eating too much. His daughter threw a $1m wedding for herself. His family members run monopolies of businesses. They are the only ones who can import certain food and products. It is the classical African kleptocracy.
