Unfortunately you can’t come together, if you are heading in two different directions. If we were all heading to the same place but just disagreed on how to get there, then we can unity but this is a story of two totally different destinations. One is the original founding and the other a totally newly imagined America.

The death of anyone from a gun is sad, but that is a big part of the culture of the USA. However, this older man, wearing a hat that supports DJT, stating that the negative talk needs to stop really needs to reflect on how DJT has by himself lowered the level of civility in politics. I am not a US 😊, THANK GOD, but it is very clear to everyone else in the world that DJT negative retoric; calling people names, mocking the disabled, calling fallen military loosers, etc is the issue. Can you imagine the response if any democrat spoke as DJT does? That is NOT the same as pointing out the plans of DJT and how negative that WILL be for the country, his praise of dictators. It is very sad. I have heard that this man who died was a really good guy. The man interviewed said that there are hateful things said on both sides, but I have written about the history of political violence in America and every single shooter was on the political left; even those who shot Democrats. (even the man who shot Gabby Giffords was a registered Democrat and had volunteered at Democrat events in Tucson in the past) It's one thing to suggest that a president has dementia; it's another to actually have supporters who resort to violence; like the man who shot Steve Scalise and other Republicans at the baseball practice. President Trump was less than an inch away from dying and I read hundreds of comments on Twitter complaining that the shot missed.
