It is cartilage only, it has no flavour and is cut from the shark which is then chucked back into the ocean to die. Rhino horns are made from basically the same thing as human hair. Rhinos poached for their horns (mistakenly thought to be an aphrodisiac) are in danger of becoming extinct. Wording is important.
