  1. Ruto (govt) must go. Please Debarl get it right. Let Ruto give us a timeframe when the IEBCwill be reconstituted and then he dissolves parliament and we go for a fresh election. That's what the gen z are asking for. Ruto has no capacity to run this country and 2027 is very far. Period.

  2. Please Kenyan people stop loading all these burdens on Gzs alone, by doing so you're making it as if gzs are unti government trouble makers, it's the responsibility of all wananchi to hold their government to account for its irresponsibility and bad manners by joining the youthful activists rather than standing on the side just watching as if what is going on in Kenya does not affect you

  3. Do not blame Nyeri people or Mt Kenya for what comes out of Governor Kahiga's foul mouth. What Mt Kenya wants is a responsible government, which serves its people and not stealing. We don't care if we get one or nothing as long as whoever sits in that cabinet will work for the whole country. A time has come when we should no longer care where a cabinet secretary comes from. After all. We only have between 15 and 22 slots available while we have 42 communities. Let us get merit as the determining factor.

  4. This same old talking heads who talk in circles. The majority of Kenyans are living in anarchy already. Hey not ask new people who don’t spend all the time being the experts on TV.

  5. Why Ruto should have these 3 men in his cabinet

In these unprecdented times Ruto needs a men and women in his cabinet that can be trusted, have a track record of honesty and telling it like it is that is lucking in the Presidency. Public trust is Rutos biggest problem. These folk will also be people whom the public can trust, have confidence in due to their past records and achievments names that come to mind are:

    Magara-Attorney General,

    Ouko-Finance

    Kagwe-Health.

Magara as Attorney general- Magara as Supreme court Judge was a stickler of the constitution regardless of how he rubbed the powers that be. He overturned an election that he considered the process to have illegalities and irregularities a first in Africa and globally by over turning an election. He called for the dissolution of parliament, saying lawmakers had failed to meet a constitutional provision which would allow for one-third of seats to be occupied by women.

These are bold moves he has made regardless of the consequences. The Ruto administration has been known not to adhere to the constitution and having Magara as the AG would buttress any unconstitutional govt policies.

Ouko- Former Auditor general. His time as the Auditor General was always at loggerheads with the Uhuru govt for insisting on the indpendence of the Office whom the Uhuru regime wanted to control. He called for delinking the Auditor general from the treasury by insisting the Audit Office should have its own independent budget like the judiciary so as not to be compromised by treasury mandarins who were averse to being audited and would threaten the office by defunding it so as not to carry out its duties. Ouko called for any govt projects over 500m be audited first before treasury could release any funds. Here again Uhuru regime was not happy.

The biggest rub with Uhuru govt was when Ouko insisted on Auditing the first Euro bond, that has put the country in a financial mess. He wanted to know exactly where the money went and what it was used for but was dressed down publicly at statehouse by Uhuru for calling for an Audit on Eurobond. Oukos term came to an unceremoniuos end without even a replacement which left a vacancy in the office which is unprecedented.

Kagwe-As CS for health Kagwe , according to the Newyork Times, kagwe was hailed as one of the most effective Covid CS's globally. His daily briefings and effective communication on matters Covid was a reasuring voice during these difficult times as he gained the public trust by his daily briefings. He also brought about reforms at the Ministry of health to curb corruption. Health is a very complicated and sensitive docket as you are responsible for peoples lives and any policy affects lives. As the govt wrestles to replace NHIF with another system, right now there is no clear direction.

The public is not sure what it entails due to luck of proper communication. No one, even the health CS is seen in public explaining the new System. Who better to be at the helm of health other than Kagwe to bring sanity, clarity and confidence that the new system is better than the old. He has been Health CS before so he knows the difference between NHIF and the new system and advice the President accordingly. May be the old system just needed a few adjustments instead of a total over haul. As a great communicator he would be able to communicate effectively with Doctors and nurses to avoid strikes. These are things Kagwe can bring to the cabinet.

These 3 men are not associated with any politcal party whereby one can say they belong to this party that influenced their appointment.

  6. On police reform.

We need to profesionalize the police and make it attractive even to GENZ. In developed countries

police jobs are coveted because they are well paying jobs and police are respected. many police have college degrees and are paid according to level of education.

In Kenya police jobs are seen as casual jobs but the role they play keeping citizens save can never be downplayed. many of our policemen and women have the minimum educational qualifications and thats where the problem starts. We focus on hiring police based on physical attributes at the expense of mental capabilities. Obvioulsy one has to meet a certain phyiscal acumen like being fit and not neccessarily size but that should not be the only factor.

What Kenya needs to do is start attracting men and women who have attained higher levels of education to join the service. It does not matter what degree you have you can join the police force once you have been through the training.

The pay should be pegged on the level of education one has. For instance a form 4 graduate will get paid more than someone who has not completed form 4. A University graduate will get paid a salary according to their educational background akin to that of the civil service pay by job group. They get paid a salary fit for a University graduate. A from 4 student can upgrade themselves for better pay once they have gone through policing courses to that of graduate level that Kiganjo or even universites may offer.

Promotions will also be pegged on performance and continued training for advanced courses. Course can be in Phsycology, Human interaction, public relations, just like the military have a university the police need to elevate Kiganjo and universities need to offer undergraduate and graduate courses on policing Like:

    Law Enforcement Operations.

    Criminal Law.

    Ethics in Criminal Justice.

    Law Enforcement Operations.

    Criminal Procedure.

    Corrections.

    Crime Scene Management.

As an incentive, All police will be provided with housing, health coverage , a balloon payment for their families or next of kin securing their family or dependants incase of a fatality like death or injury. Just the same benefits a KDF officer receives.

  7. I think media also are the greatest enemies of our country, fueling anger to the nation with negative msgs can make pple to burn this country, they don't choose what to tell us, the bad things are the ones they call news but any good thing is stocked nd won't hear them tell us.
