    Ingredients:

    3 1/2 cup all purpose Flour

    2tsps

    1/2 cup sugar- 100g sugar

    1/4tsp salt

    orange or lemon zest 1tbsp

    3 large eggs

    1/4 cup vegetable oil

    1/4cup milk

    1tsp vanilla

    Simple Syrup

    1.5 cup water

    1.5 sugar

    You can use :Lemon or orange zest / orange blossom /vanilla

    Ground pistachios or almonds for topping

    – In a saucepan, pour the water, sugar, and orange zest.
    – Bring to a boil then add vanilla . Simmer on low heat for about 15 minutes without mixing.

    -Continue simmering for an additional 15 minutes, or until the syrup is a little thick.

    -Mix the dry ingredients then add it gradually to the wet ingredients. Fold it in with-a spatula until the dough is smooth and slightly sticky.

    -Cover and let stand at room temperature for around 20 minutes.

    -Flour the surface very well and roll out the dough until about 1/2 an inch thick. Using a small cookie cuter or donuts mold to cut out the mini doughnuts.

    – Let the oil heat and then fry the individual doughnuts, flipping once until golden on all sides. Place the doughnuts in a colander for the excess oil to drip.
    – Dip the mini donuts and turn them over so that they are well coated with the sugar syrup.
