  1. the fact that Zinedine Zidane (3 champions leagues winner and hands down the most demanded manager in the market currently) and amir abdou (Mauritania manager and ex comoros's whom greatest achievement was beating algeria), with all due respect to the latter, were both in the same list shows you that the federation have absolutely no clue what they're doing,
it's like a person with zero interest in football naming managers out of the top of his head, no actual consideration is given to this and it's going to be a disaster.

  2. Is this an official list?
I don’t understand the list. How can you make a shortlist of coaches who are the complete opposite of eachother.
You should first make a profile of a coach.
‘What kind of coach do we need for our players?’
That should be the first question. You should first do investigation on the specific qualities the coach needs for this team.
You can make a list of coaches that fit that criteria.

This list is not based on investigation, planning and vision. This list is based on feelings. It’s not time for feelings.
There should be an evaluation and assessment. A rapport should be written.
This is a safeguard. If this doesn’t happen. A person can do whatever he wants. He can simply appoint someone based on feelings. He won’t take responsibility later if things don’t go well.
This is not only for Algeria. This is for all African countries.
We don’t record things. We don’t have a vision, planning and criteria report. If someone loses his job. The next person is obligated to commit himself to the report. The long term vision should be followed by everyone.
If this is not in a contract. Every new president or manager will execute their own selfish short term plans.

  3. Whoever is chosen, algerian media will try to destroy him unfortunately. As they did with Belmadi. Football oligarques ( Bencheikh, Derradji, Madjer…..) . Algerian supporters are still claiming Belmadi ( they call him " Minister of Happiness" ).

  4. I remember thinking how tight Cameroon were in the last AFCON for sacking Toni Conceição. And at the time I was thinking Algeria should appoint him as our manager so that we could both get our revenge.
My Son thinks Arden Wenger is the best manager to get Algeria to the World Cup.
I like your comments, they make sense too.
Insha'Allah the faf make the best choice to lead us to victory in June !

  5. I would stay with belmadi because with these 5, we will be dead! Better to loose next afcon in group stage than dont qualifie for the next world cup and dont going all the way in the world cup. You will all regret it trust me. You will.
