Did he just say that head hair can last 2 weeks without needing a trim. Only 2 weeks, i thought i was good fetting mine cut every month and a half
It makes sense but I don’t want my beard looking too neat. Straight lines take away from the beard itself. I prefer a bit of a rugged look.

I'll turn 18 by September and im already growing a beard, i didn't know i had great beard genetics until my dad grew out his beard ( he's always had a mustache)

Holy shit, I just tried the straight line advice and it looks so much better!
Usually I remove as little as possible when shaping up to preserve as much height as possible. This time I sacrificed a bit of height for that solid straight line. The trade off is worth it for sure!
