Now I’d be hesitant to keep an crocodile as a pet and I’d probably lose a wrestling match with one (welll, for sure I’d lose) it’d probably certainly end me being swallowed whole but just because they’re scary, doesn’t mean they don’t have their place in nature’s ecosystem. They were around with the dinosaurs. And they’re still around for us to be amazed by from afar like on documentaries 🐊
We humans are still capable of killing them all
off because we’re mean and horrible. In areas where crocs were hunted (mostly for their skin to make handbags and shoes) it had a detrimental ripple effect on the environment. Because nature is the closest thing to perfect I know and everything and every creature is there for a reason, to keep the balance. Remove something as significant as a croc, well, that sucks.
Luckily there are dedicated conservation groups and many crocodile species have recovered; aren’t on the endangered species list anymore. The ones with the really long thin snouts are still precariously few but they’re working on it.
Did you know crocs are the only reptiles to care for their children? Yeah, they’re cool. They’re survivors. With superhero powers. Launching themselves out of the water? Watch. You’ll see.
Respect for crocs. ✊🏼

Most other documentaries I saw on here appeared to be demonizing crocodiles, "the dark side of crocodiles" was something I saw in many titles. I appreciate this documentary for explaining how truly amazing and important crocodilians are. It was very educational and had great footage!
I love 'em!
The black caiman is larger than any aligator species
Protect these precious creatures🦋🌺
Chinese year of the dragon is actually year of the alligator!!

🎄🎁🎄🎁🎄🎁
Phytosaurs sometimes aren’t even considered archosaurs, let alone direct descendants of crocodiles.
Or sometimes they are placed in the archosaurs but as an adjacent branch to pseudosuchians(the branch that crocodiles belong to).
Nowhere though, are they considered to be direct descendants of crocodiles.
What'S up with the agressing violin in every beggining!!!
I decided to learn about crocodilians 🐊

Sort of out of date info on the American Alligator florida has about 2 million now and theyve caught a 4.572 Meter gator in another state
This was a great excellent excellent documentary. Thank you so much for this very educational beautiful footage I visited the Everglades last week and I absolutely love these creatures
If you were a preyed on animal what defense mechanism would you prefer:
Flying (escape)
Camouflage (hide)
Secretion (poison)
Sharp exterior (weapon)
Fabulously narrated and very educational without loud, overpowering drama music….well done!
actually a good documentary that wasnt all humans the whole time they had actual footage wasnt a fan of the music thoughh.

1:45. Is that crocodile swimming in the open ocean? I didn't think saltwater crocodiles live in the ocean. Just in salt waters.
