  1. u have complicated Hawawshi too much, I prefer Cairo Hawawshi where it`s simple ingredients and lovely whole wheat regular Egyptian bread, not croissant dough.

  2. It looks tasty and I appreciate that you showed how to make the dough. I checked other channels and they did not show how to make it or they used store-bought bread. I only have one question…is the mixed spice baharat? Thank you!

  3. I saw a short clip of this on tiktok when I was searching for a hawawshi recipe, landed here on YouTube, and made this for iftar today.

O M G .. thank you. The dough is so soft, we haven't eaten hawawshi in years we felt like we were back in Egypt.

    Jazakum Allhu Khairan.

This one is going in my recipe book!

  4. Thank you so much for this detained recipe. Iam a Russian wife to an Egyptian husband and would love to incorporate our cuisine to both cultures and this was very informative ❤️ blessings to your family ❤️

  7. Im Puerto Rican and this reminds me of a dish we make! Alittle different It’s with beef instead of lamb, and made with tortillas instead of dough, but I really want to try making this! Thank you for sharing your recipe!
