  1. Fighting game characters that use some of these styles whether they're in its natural or fictional form.

    Karate: (Multiple characters use some form of this style but the ones that come to mind include) Ryu (Street Fighter), Kazuya Mishima (Tekken), Hitomi (Dead or Alive)
    Taekwondo: Kim Kaphwan (Fatal Fury), Juri (Street Fighter), Hwoarang (Tekken)
    Aikido: Geese Howard (Fatal Fury)
    Muay thai: Sagat (street fighter), Joe Higashi (Fatal Fury), Bruce Irving (Tekken), Zack (Dead or Alive), Shura (World Heroes), Brad Burns (Virtua Fighter)
    Judo: Goro Daimon (KOF), Ryoko Izumo (World Heroes), Goh Hinogami (Virtua Fighter)
    Capoeira: Eddy Gordo (Tekken), Bob Wilson (Fatal Fury), Elena (Street Fighter)

  2. As someone who studied a lot of different martial arts (including western fencing and becoming an instructor & competitive saber fencer), this was a pretty good breakdown of martial arts. Well done! 🙂

  3. Disclaimer… Jiujitsu is Brazilian martial art the original japanese form is called ju jutsu translated as (soft technique) the Brazilians never learned how to properly spell so that is why is called "jiujitsu"
