This has been an intriguing series of interviews. Astar & Erick. Big ups!
From CTA damn Ritchie you have a story man
All this time Astar been interviewing guys only to realise he's the long awaited CTA.
Am from CTA, watching A STAR tbt interview with that gospel artist with missing tooth and 1gp😂 guy shows that it's all about vision almost 20yrs later
Njau storo is DEEP
One way you know it’s a good interview is there’s no way to summarize it. You just have to watch it 💯💯
Seriously, Astar, your story needs to be made into a movie. So captivating. I know mkurugenzi and you are tight. Please, let them make a movie from your story. So touching and entertaining. We serve an amazing God❤
@eotwe777 part 5 is better (fewer interruptions)😊
Learnings I am gathering thus far on this story:
1. I have been taken behind the mind of a child and it is reinforcing my resolve for conscious (intentional) parenting and family sitdowns. Yes to more family dinners. Also Richie, your family 'unintentionally' did you well. In my Central/West African context, parents will force their money and career influence down your throat. There would probably be no CTA if you were West African. You would have been shipped abroad and shamed into choosing a career 'ordained' by family. You had freedom albeit on a difficult path
2. Again I am perceiving that hip-hop can really have deep roots. 😂
3. Do good and demand no gratitude. See how he is appreciating his Blackman friend & family now!🙏🏽
4. The resurrected Pharisee in me was already judging when he kept labelling his gigs as performances. I internally kept screaming "it's ministry Sir, not performance" then came his wife with her powerful perspective on ministry from @1:19:14. That's my Jesus girl!💛
5. The value of clean(pure) peer influence and support. I am looking out for Kanji's music content.
Hi Eric, this A-Star's story is amazing.
Kindly consider doing shorts and other short videos off this interview and re-upload to your channel and social media platforms,
there are amazing pointers (especially with the people Richard has met along the way in the Kenyan entertainment and gospel industry) in the entire interview that will give your channel massive traction.
Eric well spoken ❤❤about family
