  1. Did you know that this town is named after David Livingstone birthplace in Scotland. He was born in a small Part-City of Glasgow which is called Blantyre. Also when Colonization is a sad part of whole human and earthly history it is interesting and meaningful that a few years after his death, this city was named after his birthplace. This man left impression in Africa. Not because he fought with the weapons of men, but with the weapons of the Spirit.

  2. I have live in malawi 5yrs ago actually i stayed for a whole year in lilongwe! Blantyre is there most developed city but one thing i realized in malawi you only spending money but earning nothing. As a foreigner they dont give job opportunities they only consider their own local people unless you open your own business which would take a century to adapt. Thats my biggest concern

  3. Oh my word, thanks for sharing the new looking Blantyre. We lived there 1992-93 (soon after we were married) and so enjoyed our time and we were sad to leave. How modern Blantyre looks now, we hardly recognised it. Streets are wider and many more are one-way. Many of the places we knew have disappeared but are replaced by newer and better. Makes me want to return to explore all over again. We lived not far from Clock Tower in a suburb called Mandala, wonder if the house is still there?

  4. MY FAVORITE PART of the video is : telling us that MALAWI is part owner of their airport….COMMERICAL banks. TOUR ….GOVERNMENT kicked Indian Businesses to local Malawians….MALE DOMINATED society so women are NOT on the street….Manda Am boozy…

  5. I am not Malawian but my respect and love ❤️ for this country and its people knows no bounds.having lived there as a consultant and expat for 3 years, I can confirm that despite the struggles and economic hardships, the people are very polite , contented and most notably happy.
