  2. if God made a mistake of giving the nedtherlands just half of the shara desert , ithink they could feed the whole world ,they have cormecialised everything …..

  3. Imagine working in an abattoir…

Seriously though, the meat industry is abysmal. 47,000 pigs a day ? Why is a pig’s life worth less than your cat’s ?

  4. Really interesing and insightful look. It doesn't try to be overly positive, just realistic. It's also not too in depth but it's not meant to, as we'd spend hours on just one topic. Really appreciate some personal commentary, as for example it is well known that Dutch people don't really work on those farms. Looking forward to more content like this

  5. Well this film was pretty great in spite of the filmmaker, who seemed to want to portray the whole thing as dark and unethical. I mean, I understand that blind and uncritical patriotism is a bad thing but this topic really should be a celebration of the amazing things the Netherlands is doing.

They're feeding millions of people around the world and doing so much more sustainably than anyone else. The filmmaker seems to want to highlight only the negatives and imply that there's something nefarious about it all.

Still a good film despite the overall tone. The Netherlands looks like it's ahead of the game in a lot of industrial and environmental areas. I hope more individuals, companies and countries look towards your example.
    ❤️🤍💙

  6. The Dutch are very smart. They see the big money is in processing food, not just growing food. American farmers would do themselves a service if they invested in some processing equipment as well. It could help them increase their profits to offset all the losses they accrue in bad years.

  7. The guy producing the film is acting like this is a BAD thing. This stuff is impressive and incredibly beneficial to mankind. My respect for the Netherlands just doubled. And I already had quite a lot of respect for the Dutch.

Feel free to emigrate to the United States, my Dutch friends. ☺️ ❤️🤍💙

  8. The meat production lines are sinister; not because killing a single animal is criminal as defined by criminal law, but because the death camp-style assembly line approach to the (climate-degrading) slaughter and exploitation of animals for profit is inhumane.
