  1. In just a few days my wife and I'll go to Lisboa for a week+. I look forward to it.
It will be our first time in Portugal but we've been to France many times and to Spain a few times. We love Mediterranean food, and I guess this will be different but good.

  2. we do have the best coffee. glad that someone showed how we eat the cod, otherwise you would be missing out (always put some olive oil over grilled fish). That tomato salad is so typical and tasty, really miss it living in the UK

  3. Haven't been to Portugal for ten years. My mother is Italian Portuguese and I grew up knowing more of the Portuguese side growing up mostly due to my stepfather being Portuguese, anyways I love Portuguese food… I never liked sardines as a kid growing up but now I love it! There's an old restaurant in a place just off Lisbon called Barbos can't remember that's how it's spelt it's in Costa da Caparica I went there as a kid and the last visit was 20 years ago it's still there but it's layout and look is completely different. PS portuguese coffee is the best 👍🏼 great video thanks for sharing this and my mouth is watering lol

  4. My grandparents on both my mom’s and dad’s side came from Madeira Islands. They migrated to Hawaii. I was raised in a Portuguese household eating all these foods. However, there were a lot of food items that were hard to get in Hawaii. Today what is known as Portuguese sweet bread and Portuguese sausage had been renamed to Hawaiian sweet bread and Hawaiian sausage. However, the flavors are very altered not as flavorful as the original Portuguese way.
